Greatness is not in where we stand, but in what direction we are moving.
We must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it –
but sail we must, and not drift, nor lie at anchor.

Personal Life Coaching
Personal life coaching can be for a variety of personal issues including
organization, time management, public speaking, memory enhancement, personal
assessment and effectiveness. Reconnecting with friends, developing an
effective support network, increasing your self-confidence, helping you
problem-solve various concerns in your life – these are all appropriate
coaching activities.
Relationship Coaching
Relationship coaching can be provided for either an individual person
or both members of a couple. It is also possible for relationship coaching
to be provided for multiple members of a family – for example, a
middle-age woman and her adult children. Relationship coaching addresses
specific areas in which you might be experiencing relationship difficulties
– effective communication, conflict resolution, life planning, parenting,
identifying appropriate boundaries and behaviors for respectful and supportive
family relationships, to name a few.
Stepfamily
Coaching
Stepfamily coaching can also be provided for either an individual person
or both members of a couple, as well as multiple members of a family.
Putting two families together to make one is among the most challenging
situations that people ever find themselves in. The success rate of such
relationships is not higher than 25%, less than 1 out of 4. Because this
is such a challenging endeavor, even very high functioning adults have
a difficult time meeting the challenge. Because you care about your relationship
and because you want to have an excellent relationship with your partner
and the (step)children, stepfamily coaching is almost a must for today’s
“new” families.
Adult
Attention Deficit Disorder Coaching
Trying to manage your life when you have this challenging disorder often
feels like trying to “rearrange the deck chairs of the Titanic while
it is going down.” ADD coaching can help you identify the specific
ways in which your ADD symptoms interfere with your life functioning and
create manageable methods and tools for you to utilize to reduce your
stress and increase your effectiveness at work, at home, and in relationships.
Academic
Coaching
Academic coaching is particularly helpful for the new college student
taking course work in new areas of learning. Such an endeavor often overwhelms
new college students, even those who have been very successful in their
academic work prior to college. College course work often differs significantly
from previous kinds of learning. Increase your chances of success by utilizing
a few sessions of academic coaching and notice the difference.
Dating
Again! Coaching
More women than ever find themselves at mid-life without the social life
they desire – often most especially with regard to having an appreciative
and attentive man in their lives. But many women who are in this situation
also find it difficult to know how to get what they want. Utilizing the
Internet to meet available men is becoming increasingly popular. It also
can be one of the most effective approaches to meeting men. But how do
you use it to your best advantage? At mid-life, using the Internet for
this purpose is not the same as it is for younger single adults. A few
sessions of Dating Again! coaching can help you increase your chances
of finding someone who will love and appreciate you.
Successful
Aging Coaching
Mid-life baby boomers are a different generation from the ones that have
gone before. You are determined to live life as fully and completely as
you can for as long as you can. In order to do this you will need to become
one of the “successful agers” – people who may even
be getting better as they get older. You do not have to lose your memory
or your physical abilities. Taking hold of your life now and learning
what it takes to be a successful ager can make all the difference you
want in life.
Weight Management Coaching
Weight management is quickly becoming the number one health issue in the
United States. More importantly, it is a significant factor in your personal
health and quality of life. Many adults would like to feel better and
look better. Many weight loss programs promise you much, cost you a lot,
and deliver very little – especially in the long run. Weight management
does not have to be an albatross you carry around with you the rest of
your life. You can succeed and get more enjoyment out of your life in
the process.
